A HORSE was hit by a van in a crash on a busy road on the Herefordshire and Worcestershire border.
Emergency services were called to the A44 near Broadwas shortly before 8.25pm yesterday (February 25).
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said nobody was seriously hurt and no arrests were made.
He added that the horse was returned to its owner.

Meanwhile, two vehicles were involved in a crash in Ross-on-Wye on Saturday evening (February 24).
Emergency services - including a crew from Ross-on-Wye Fire Station - were called to Warren Bank shortly after 9.05pm.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said the incident involved two vehicles which were made safe by fire service personnel.
"There were no casualties," he added.
"Police also attended. The incident was marked as pending closure at 9:40pm."
