This follows a separate theft of a Land Rover from a Herefordshire farm two weeks ago.
This car, also a black Defender, was taken on February 13 with police investigating the incident.
West Mercia Police has advice on preventing car theft. It says all drivers should lock their vehicles, keep the keys safe, park responsibly, fit good in-car security locks, double-check electronic locking, securing the port, and finally to be aware of carjackers which cause crashes and then hijack vehicles. It adds that additional physical security such as locks and immobilisers are highly recommended, even if you have a keyless entry car.
