THREE people were "seriously injured" in a crash in Herefordshire, with an air ambulance being called to the incident.
The crash, which took place just before 3pm today (February 26) involved one car on the M50 near Gorsley.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of on the M50 between junctions two and three at around 2.50pm. Two ambulances, a paramedic and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham were sent to the scene where crews discovered a car came off the road and hit a tree. There were three male patients. One passenger was treated for serious injuries and airlifted to Southmead Hospital. The driver and a second passenger both received treatment for potentially serious injuries and were conveyed via ambulance to Hereford County Hospital."

West Mercia Police and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue were also called to the scene.
A spokesperson for police said officers had been called to the scene at 2.50pm and remained there as of 4.30pm.
National Highways confirmed that the road was closed between junctions two and three in Herefordshire. The other side of the carriageway at junction four had also been closed but has since reopened.
