A LORRY left a busy Herefordshire road today as a mixture of rain and snow has caused problems on the roads.
The incident happened on the A417 between Trumpet and Newtown, near Ashperton.
It is understood that it happened this morning, with the recovery taking place later in the day.
It is not the only crash that has taken place in Herefordshire today (March 2).

The A465 was temporarily closed between Burley Gate and Bromyard after a van overturned, while there were also problems on the A44 between Bringsty and Knightwick.
The snow that fell this morning surprised many, with plenty falling in Bromyard and the south of the county.
It led to postcard-style pictures being taken, with Herefordshire looking very pretty.
But as soon as the snow came, the rain returned, which caused its own problems with plenty of surface water forming on roads.
This evening is forecast to be dry; however, it is set to freeze. Sunday looks to be a fine day with sunny spells.
