ROADWORKS on a main Herefordshire road have been delayed.
The work, which is being carried out by Herefordshire Council, is on the B4224 in Fownhope.
According to the council, it has not yet been carried out due to poor weather and wet ground conditions, but is scheduled to be done tonight (March 6).
These works will be to implement traffic calming measures in the village, which is near Hereford.

The road was previously closed for two weeks in February, as resurfacing work was done.
This affected many people and businesses in the area, who originally were told access would be maintained to their properties, but were actually asked to use a diversion.

This miscommunication from Balfour Beatty Living Places caused "confusion" and prompted apologies from Herefordshire Council and ward councillor Barry Durkin.
The clerk to the parish council, Helen Tinson, said at the time: "There have been errors in communication from Balfour Beatty.
"We understand access will only be given to anyone accessing property within the closed area itself."
