AN ATTACKER will be sentenced later this month after causing grievous bodily harm in Herefordshire.
Emanuel Cimpoeru entered a guilty plea to one count of inflicting grievous bodily harm (GBH) without intent when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster this month.
The court heard from prosecutor Lauren Millichip that the 44-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Matt Lewis, had maliciously wounded a woman in Leominster, causing her GBH, in an incident on July 16, 2022.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by the probation service and Cimpoeru, of Lion Court, Leominster, was released on conditional bail.

Following his last court appearance on March 4, enquiries will be carried out while he is on bail.
He will appear before Hereford Magistrates' Court for sentencing on March 26.
GBH is a distinct assault offence from actual bodily harm, as injuries from GBH are more severe.
