POLICE have discovered the body of a woman in river Wye in Hereford.
The body was discovered around 11.30pm yesterday evening (March 8).
The identity of the woman is currently unknown and an investigation is ongoing.
A spokesperson for police said the body had been recovered from the river and that the process of identification is taking place.

The full statement from police, issued at 7.44pm today (March 9), says: "Officers have recovered a woman's body in the river Wye in Hereford yesterday evening (March 8).
"The body was discovered around 11.30pm.
"The identity of the woman is currently unknown and an investigation is ongoing into identifying her."
