A DRUG-DRIVER was caught behind the wheel in Herefordshire when he was over 13 times the limit.
Timothy Harris, 41, of William Street, Pontypridd, had 695 microgrammes (mg) of benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, in his blood when police stopped him on the A465 in Wormbridge.
The limit for benzoylecgonine is 50 mg, meaning Harris was over 13 times the legal limit.
He had been driving a Hyundai i10 on November 13, 2022, said prosecutor Mrs Meakin for the Crown Prosecution Service.

He originally denied the offence, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. But he later surrendered himself to Hereford police station and entered a guilty plea before Birmingham magistrates' court this month.
His guilty plea was taken into account, despite not being at the first opportunity.
Magistrates disqualified Harris from driving for 12 months and fined him £162. He also has to pay court costs of £135 and a victim surcharge of £65.
