A FLOOD alert is in place in one part of Herefordshire.
The Environment Agency says river levels remain high at the Lugwardine river gauge, meaning flooding of roads and farmland continues.
Therefore, a flood alert has been put in place for the river Lugg south of Leominster. from Stoke Prior to Mordiford. Other locations that may be affected include Bodenham, Lugwardine and Hampton Bishop.

"We expect river levels to remain high for the next few days," said an Environment Agency spokesperson.
"We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. "
Heavy rain hit Herefordshire overnight and into this morning (March 15); however, it has now stopped.
According to the Met Office, a large dry spell is now forecast for the rest of the week, although there may be spells of light rain tomorrow (March 16).
