SOME key roads will be closed in Hereford next week.
The eastbound carriageway of Newmarket Street will be closed from 9pm on Thursday (March 21) until 6am the following morning from the Edgar Street roundabout to Auctioneer Walk.
This, Herefordshire Council say, is due to crane works. A diversion route will be in operation via Edgar Street, the city link road and Commercial Road.

Barrs Court Road, meanwhile, will be closed from 8am to 6pm this Sunday (March 17).
This is due to work being carried out by Network Rail. The diversion route will be via College Road, Venns Lane and Aylestone Hill.
It will be the first of a number of road closures that will be in place there. Further work will be carried out on March 24, April 28 and May 5 respectively.
Looking ahead, there will be overnight closures in Edgar Street week beginning March 25 due to white lining and road markings being carried out by National Highways.
Meanwhile, Union Street will be closed for five days from April 1 to 5 so that private gas connection works can be carried out. The diversion will be via Bath Street and Gaol Street.
