STAFF at a Herefordshire care home are celebrating after it was named as one of the best in the region.
Herefordshire's Lynhales Hall Nursing Home has proudly earned recognition as one of the top twenty rated care homes in the West Midlands. The accolade was presented by carehome.co.uk as part of its annual Top 20 awards.
A spokesperson for the home said Lynhales Hall is dedicated to excellence in dementia care, and "stands out as a specialised home supporting individuals with complex needs".
The centrepiece of this commitment is the John Sperry Memorial Unit, a specialised care facility promising exceptional nursing care and designed to address the diverse types and stages of dementia, as well as other mental health conditions.

Staff and residents at Lynhales Hall celebrated the wins with cupcakes adorned with the award logo.
Rotherwood Healthcare's chief operating officer Vicky Craddock said the team was thrilled to have received the Top 20 award and to be recognised as a top small care home group.
"These awards are a testament to the dedication and commitment of our staff, who prioritise the wellbeing and comfort of our residents above all else," she said.
The awards are based on reviews from residents and their families, and aim to reflect the genuine experiences and satisfaction levels with each home.
