A STALKER has been banned from a Hereford factory after tricking his way past security to harass a woman.
Jason Griffin appeared before magistrates for sentencing in March after entering a guilty plea to one count of stalking without fear, alarm, or distress to magistrates at an earlier hearing.
The court heard from prosecutor Paul John that the 35-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Marilena Di Vitantonio, had pursued a course of conduct that amounted to the stalking of a woman and which he knew or ought to have known amounted to the harassment of her between April 11 and May 23 last year.

He had attended her home address, banging on her door and shouting at her on numerous occasions, and attended her place of work, tricking his way past security staff and grabbing her by the arm.
Griffin, of Clifford Road, Smethwick, was handed a 12-month community order with 140 hours of unpaid work for the offence.
He was also made subject to a two-year restraining order banning him from contacting the victim, going to her address, or going to her place of work in Hereford.
