A GARAGE caught fire in south Hereford.
Three fire engines were called to Oban Way, in Newton Farm, shortly after 9.45pm last night (March 19). A spokesperson for
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said the detached built-brick garage was well alight.
"The fire was extinguished using two hose reel jets," he said.

"Positive pressure ventilation was also used. All persons were accounted for and adjoining properties were searched using a thermal imaging camera.
"Crews dampened down and used a triple extension ladders and small tools to check the roof space."
The fire service spokesperson said that crews left the scene at around 11.55pm, but a full reinspection of the garage and roof space took place at 4am this morning (March 20) with no hot spots found.
No other emergency services attended, with the incident marked as closed at 4.22am.
