AN ELDERLY man sustained potentially life-threatening injuries after being knocked over by a car in Herefordshire.
Emergency services were called to the A480 near Lyonshall at around 4.40pm yesterday (March 20).
A police spokesperson said a man was taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.

It was one of several crashes that emergency services were called due to yesterday.
At around 6.20pm, police were called to Walnut Tree Avenue, near Belmont Road, Hereford. The crash involved two cars, with a woman arrested at the scene.
Earlier in the evening, officers were also sent to a crash in Edgar Street.
It happened near Hereford Football Club and involved a car and a motorbike.
No injuries were reported.
