The court heard that the 25-year-old had travelled on a railway without having paid his fare and with intent to avoid payment in Andover, Hampshire, on August 10 last year, which is a criminal offence.
Rasoul, who is of Barrs Court Road in Hereford, was fined £220 for the offence and ordered to pay compensation of £39.90, which was the price of ticket.
He must also pay prosecution costs of £180 and an £88 victim surcharge, which is used to fund services supporting victims of crime.
