TWO women are reopening a landmark Herefordshire pub today - saying they couldn't resist taking it on.
Danielle Baker and Jessica Filbrandt, who collectively have 13 years' experience in the industry, are the new licensees of the Trumpet Inn.
The pub - which sits at a prominent crossroads that links the A438 and A417 - was closed for several months, with "staffing issues" being given as the reason.

Karen and Alan Davies, who are Danielle's mother and stepfather and landlord and landlady of the Moon Inn, Mordiford, have also helped with the opening.
"Locals can expect an inviting friendly service with traditional country pub food, that is locally sourced and home-made," said Danielle and Jessica.
"To begin with, food will be served Wednesday to Saturday from midday to 3pm and again from 5pm to 8pm. And from midday to 4.30pm on Sundays.
"The roast dinners will be delicious. We had a soft launch last Sunday (March 24) where approximately 200 people supported us - friends and family came to test out the pub for us and ensure it was running well.
"Of course it was, they all thoroughly enjoyed the drinks, the buffet and the talented singer Joe Mitchell. We simply can't wait to re-open officially and welcome people back into this beautiful pub."
