Hereford sex attacker admits to two sexual assaults

Harley Lawson, of Pomona Place, Hereford, entered guilty pleas to two counts of sexual assault on a female when he appeared at Hereford Magistrates Court last month. 

The court heard from prosecutor Tom Wickstead that, on two occasions, the 31-year-old had assaulted a woman aged 16 or over in Hereford, intentionally sexually touching her when she did not consent and when he did not reasonably believe she was consenting.

The 31-year-old, who was represented by Ed Middleton, committed the offences on August 8, 2023.

The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by the probation service and Lawson was released on unconditional bail.

He will appear back at Hereford Magistrates Court on April 10 for sentencing.
