TWO men have been charged following an alleged assault in Hereford.
According to police, the incident happened in Commercial Street in Hereford on Monday morning (April 1).
The assault happened around 6.50am when two men sustained serious injuries and required hospital attention.
George Visosenchi, 27, and Iulian Caruta, 31, both of Newtown Road in Hereford, have been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
They will both appear at Worcester Crown Court on May 1.
Police cars and a cordon were spotted outside the Piranha Bar in Union Street on Monday morning.

This comes after another alleged assault in Union Street in which four people were charged with offences including assaulting police officers. This was on March 30, in the early hours of the morning.
Among the officers assaulted, one of these was seriously injured and remains in hospital.
The people charged were Richard and Alex Quinn, 47 and 18, of Little Birch, Carolynn Quinn, 44 of Bridge Street, and Robynn Quinn, 22 of Fownhope.
