POLICE have warned of a "suspicious" man with a Welsh accent lurking in Hereford in the small hours.
West Mercia Police said that people should be vigilant and ensure that all valuables and vehicles are secure, after the man was spotted looking into cars and properties in the Pastures, Lower Bullingham. They urged locals to report any suspicious activity to police.
Police Community Support Officer Tally Hunt said she wanted to make the public aware of the "suspicious" man who had been reported to police.
He was seen between 4.30am and 4.45am on Sunday morning (April 7).

PCSO Hunt said: "We would like to make you aware of suspicious circumstances in the Pastures.
"On April 7, at approximately 4.30am to 4.45am, a male was seen to be looking into cars, and the surrounding properties.
"The male is around 35 years of age, five foot 11 to six foot tall, medium build, with a dark beard and hair. This male was wearing a black tracksuit, trainers and a black cross-body bag. The male has a Welsh accent.
"We ask you to be vigilant and ensure that all valuables and vehicles are secure. Please ensure to report any suspicious activity to the police."
