RICHARD Hammond's iconic "Oliver" Opel car which appeared on Top Gear over 15 years ago is at a Hereford event.
The TV personality from Herefordshire purchased the Opel Kadett, which he named Oliver, for a mere £1,200 back in 2007, and it became well known after featuring on Top Gear's famous Botswana Special.
Today (April 13) it is parked up at the Smallest Cog workshop, Hammond's Hereford classic car restoration business, as part of a recruitment event.
The event, which goes on until 4pm today, sees 35 hopeful mechanics, fabricators and painters whittled down to a group of 12, who will get to try their hand at various tasks on classic cars.
Some of the candidates will even get a chance to work on Oliver themselves.

The Hereford Times attended the morning part of the event and reported on it live.
The recruitment event is being filmed as part of the show Richard Hammond's Workshop, which follows the journey of the team at the Smallest Cog.
Hammond is currently searching for more staff to expand the business.
