A MAJOR milestone has been reached with a topping-out ceremony at a new care home in Herefordshire.
The topping-out ceremony at Rotherwood Healthcare's newest care home, in Colwall, saw chairman Richard Claridge, chief executive John Fennell, head of projects, Shivam Radia, and contracts manager Chris Jackson joined by project manager Pete Gannon from LNC Property Developments to place the final roof piece onto the structure.

Rotherwood Healthcare said the new home, which will offer 60 beds alongside extras including a bar and cinema room, promises to "redefine standards in elderly living and care."
Mr Fennell said "We're delighted to witness the progress of Colwall Care Home as it takes shape. This home will meet the growing demand for quality care in the region and provide a luxurious and enriching environment for our residents."
The topping-out ceremony marks a significant step towards the anticipated opening of Colwall Care Home in July 2024. Rotherwood Healthcare currently supports over 350 older people across Herefordshire, Shropshire, and Worcestershire
