TWO women have been rescued from cars after a crash in Herefordshire.
Firefighters from Eardisley and Peterchurch were called to the crash in Church Road, Staunton-on-Wye, at 8.59am yesterday (April 15).
On arrival, firefighters found two cars with two casualties trapped.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said that they were both released using small tools, and neither of them were injured.
Police and the ambulance service also attended the crash.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said that the service had been called just after 9am and one ambulance went to the scene.

However, neither of the patients required any treatment from ambulance staff and they were stood down at the scene.
West Mercia Police also commented that "thankfully nobody sustained any injuries".
Emergency services were at the scene for around one hour, with the fire service leaving the incident and marking it as "pending closure" at 9.54am.
