WORK to fix a Hereford road appears to have finished earlier than planned.
A section of Tillington Road, from NFU Mutual to Wye Valley Vets, was scheduled to be closed for five days from Monday (April 15) so that defect road repairs could be carried out.
According to Herefordshire Council's website, the closure would be from 8am to 11.59pm, with it reopening on Saturday (April 20) morning.

However, this morning (April 17) there were no workmen in the road, although signs were in place stating that businesses were open as usual, with another sign in Roman Road directing drivers to where the works were taking place.
The section of road has been smoothed over, much to the relief of people who regularly use it.
However, the rest of the road, from NFU Mutual to the Three Elms pub, is full of potholes and in a disrepair.
A Herefordshire Council spokesperson said: “The recent works at the north end of Tillington Road were carried out by a private third party contractor.
"The contractor was instructed to repair a failed trench in the road following works they had completed in 2022.
“In addition to this, the council has plans for future resurfacing works at the southern end of Tillington Road at the Three Elms Pubs end.”
