A DRINK-DRIVER has been banned from the roads after she was caught out on a Herefordshire lane.
Alana Clarke entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the alcohol limit when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford this month.
The court heard from prosecutor Lauren Millichip that the 40-year-old had been caught out in Meadow Green Lane in Whitbourne after getting behind the wheel of a Peugeot 207 while over the limit in February.
A breath test revealed that she had 40 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 35.

Clarke, of Whitbourne, was disqualified from driving for 36 months. Magistrates took her guilty plea into account when coming to their decision on her penalty.
She was also ordered to pay a fine of £120 and a victim surcharge of £48.
She has the opportunity to reduce her ban by 36 weeks if she completes a drink-drive awareness course.
