A DRUG-DRIVER has been banned from the roads after he was caught out in a Hereford avenue.
Robert Watton entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the drug limit when he appeared before magistrates this month.
The court heard from prosecutor David Devine that the 41-year-old had been caught drug-driving in Beattie Avenue in Hereford after getting behind the wheel of a green Citroen Xsara while over the limit on July 15, 2023.
A blood test revealed he had more than six microgrammes of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The limit is two.

Magistrates in Kidderminster handed Watton, of Greenfields, Kington, an obligatory driving ban, and disqualified him from driving for 12 months.
He was also fined £120, and must pay costs of £135 and a £48 victim surcharge.
Magistrates said his guilty plea was taken into account when coming to a decision on the sentence they would impose.
