A TEENAGE attacker who assaulted a girl under the age of 18 has appeared in court.
Paige Young entered a guilty plea to one count of assault by beating, when she appeared at Hereford Magistrates’ Court on April 17.
The court heard from prosecutor Lauren Millichip that Young, of Princess Avenue, Hereford, had assaulted a girl by beating her on October 27 last year.
The victim cannot be named for legal reasons as she is under the age of 18, meaning her identity is protected and she must remain anonymous. A reporting restriction is in place to ensure this.

18-year-old Young, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Marilena Divitantonio, has been released on bail before her sentencing.
She will next appear in court at Hereford Magistrates’ Court on May 21, when she will be sentenced for the offence.
A pre-sentencing report will be carried out by the probation service.
