IT is not too late to make the centre of Leominster far more attractive.
Corn Square is ruined by cars and their pollution. I counted eight cars recently waiting to park with their engines running.
The square cries out for flower beds and continental-style cafe seating. Imagine, if this was already a reality, how anyone proposing to fill it with cars would be scorned. Passageways give easy access from the Etnam Street car parks.

If Corn Square were free of traffic, the way is open for the High Street to be pedestrianised and we would be rid of narrow pavements and risky crossovers.
As a car driver myself, I would not begrudge the extra couple of minutes by-passing what should be a lovely old street.
It will not happen unless enough people make their voices heard.
