Rotherwood Healthcare
Rotherwood Healthcare stands as a beacon of excellence in providing specialised care for those affected by dementia across Herefordshire. Our homes, Lynhales Hall in Lyonshall and Hampton Grange in Hereford, are at the forefront of offering specialist dementia care, embodying an unwavering focus on meeting the unique needs of individuals living with dementia.
Our commitment to exceptional care is reflected in the accolades we've received. The John Sperry Memorial Unit at Lynhales Hall Nursing Home was honoured with the 'Best for Specialist Care' award at the Care Home Awards 2022. Additionally, Oana Gidofalvi, Clinical Lead at Hampton Grange, received the 'Excellence in Nursing Award'. At the same time, the John Sperry Unit at Lynhales Hall was further recognised with the 'Mental Health Award' and 'Overall Outstanding Achievement' at the Hereford Times Health and Social Care Awards 2022.
In line with our core focus on enriching the lives of the older generation, Rotherwood is preparing to launch its Rotherwood Wellness Programme. This comprehensive initiative, developed in collaboration with wellness coaches and external professionals, focuses on isometric exercises and fitness challenges for improved health. We believe this program will further enhance quality dementia care and have positive overall outcomes.
What is Isometric Training? Isometric exercises involve muscle contractions without movement in surrounding joints. Our program's key benefits include strengthening muscles, stabilising joints, enhancing cardiovascular health, improving balance and coordination, enhancing mood, promoting cognitive function, and reducing agitation.
Learn more about our program and let us help enhance your or your loved one's life. We look forward to sharing more about our comprehensive initiative and further promoting a fulfilling and enriching lifestyle.
