NO SOONER had four-way lights been removed at a busy Hereford roundabout, then they are back up.
National Grid engineers are back in Roman Road tonight (Wednesday) to carry out work, by Belle Bank Avenue.
It means that the temporary lights that caused havoc in the city today are back in place on both the eastbound and westbound sections of Roman Road, and the A49 Holmer and Leominster roads.
Luckily, according to Herefordshire Council, the work will be taking place from 7pm to 6am, and will continue every night until May 24.

National Grid apologised following today's work that was carried out due to a private sewer being struck.
"We apologise for the inconvenience people have experienced due to delays caused by this emergency work," said a spokesperson.
It resulted in congested traffic in all of the roads surrounding the Starting Gate roundabout, with vehicles backed up as far north as Moreton-on-Lugg on the A49.
