CAN someone please tell me who is responsible for removing dead animals from the A49?
I live at the foot of Dinmore Hill, as I have all my life, and never in the past have deer carcasses been left to rot on the roadside.
What are your thoughts?

Two unfortunate adult deer, killed in collisions with vehicles, are still a distressing sight after a fortnight on the Hereford side of the hill. Sadly, as I write, there is another on the north side. And yet another near Brimfield.
How long will these be left? As a farmer, if we left dead stock about to cause disease we would be heavily fined, and possibly worse.
It’s a sad, stressful (and smelly) sight for anyone approaching the country park to commune with nature.
