A HEREFORD car park has been closed this afternoon after caravans arrived on site.
The barriers have been dropped at Hereford's Leisure Centre in Holmer Road after a number of large caravans were parked on the site.
The caravans are parked in the overflow car park area, and police could be seen on scene this afternoon (May 26).
Cars arriving at the leisure centre have been seen being turned around this afternoon, with people in hi-vis jackets at the gate.

The leisure centre itself, which is run by Halo, has not closed as a result of the car park being closed.
Halo runs leisure centres across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Wiltshire and Bridgend County, and is responsible for both the leisure centre and leisure pool in Hereford.
Halo also runs leisure centres and pools across the rest of Herefordshire, including in Bromyard, Kington, Ledbury, Leominster, Ross-on-Wye, and Wigmore.
