The store will be based in what was formerly the Four Seasons hardware shop, which served the town for over 30 years before shutting down in late October last year.
The shopfront has been repainted from its previous dark green to a light grey, and an ornate lamp has been installed in the doorway. A sign has also been placed in the shopfront window which reads ‘Do you have what suits? Symonds of Leominster are looking for a full time sales associate.’
When it opens the new shop will be the only one of its kind in the town, as whilst the are a number of women’s boutiques there is a complete lack of menswear outlets in Leominster. It will also be Symonds’s only store outside of Hereford, where the business has been based for over 150 years.
