A NEW shop has recently opened in a Herefordshire market town.

A unit in Corn Square, Leominster, has become the home of Infusion, which started welcoming in customers on May 25.

Infusion is a one-of-a-kind for the town, with its focus centred around offering shop-space for small independent businesses.

The two-floor store currently houses a vast selection of clothes, antiques, books, furniture and more. The shop also serves as the home of ARN toys and crafts, which was previously a staple of Leominster’s weekly market and traded from the Retro Station on Station Yard.

The unit was previously used by Celebrations, a card, gift and fancy-dress shop in that permanently closed last December after serving the town for many years.

Last November, a sign appeared on the shop’s door announcing that all stock would be subject to a 50 per cent discount as it would be closing imminently. Locals quickly flocked to the store to say their farewells and make the most out of the sales before the owners decided to close up after the end of the festive season.
