A BMW driver has been sentenced after he was caught committing an offence on a busy Herefordshire road.
Scott Durham was convicted of two counts of drug-driving when he appeared before magistrates on May 15.
He had entered a guilty plea to the charges at the same hearing.
The court heard from the prosecutor that the 41-year-old had been caught out in Ross-on-Wye’s Wilton Road after getting behind the wheel of a BMW 320I edition M sport car while over the drug-driving limit on October 4, 2023.

An evidential blood test revealed that Durham had 11 microgrammes (mg) of cocaine and 677 mg of benzoylecgonine in a litre of blood. The legal limits for both drugs are 10 mg and 50 mg respectively.
Durham, of Tump Lane, Wormelow, was fined £120 and disqualified from driving for 12 months for the offence.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £48 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
