We have recently received several comments from donors in the visitors’ book saying that they would have given more were it not for the extraordinarily poor decision by the Church Commissioners to divert money that should be going to the front line of parish churches which rely heavily on donations.
I have written to our bishop asking him to persuade General Synod to reverse the Church Commissioners’ decision.
