A HEREFORD man has been banned from the roads and ordered to pay hundreds after he failed to provide a breath specimen when asked by police.
Sanjoy Galal pleaded guilty to one count of failing to provide a specimen.
The court heard that the 45-year-old had been asked to provide a breath specimen in Hereford on May 11.

He was suspected of having been in charge of a vehicle and was required to provide a specimen of breath for analysis by means of a breathalyser, but failed to do so without any reasonable excuse.
Galal, of Green Street, Hereford, was fined £300 and disqualified from driving for four months at his sentencing in Kidderminster on May 13.
He was ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £120 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
