FOLLOWING a visit to Hereford County Hospital, I feel let down and disgusted.
I observed rats running around the drop off point for walking aids, rubbish strewn across the car park and sea gulls feasting on discarded rubbish.

To add insult I was told all the walking aids, of which there are loads, are destroyed and not recycled. Well done on keeping within the budget NHS.
Whoever manages the exterior really needs to get a grip or get a new job!

Editor's note: A spokesperson for Wye Valley NHS Trust said the trust does recycle walking aids and has run campaigns in the past urging patients to return them once they no longer need them.
