A MAN who trespassed on a railway track and smashed windows and a door at Hereford station has been ordered to pay more than £1,000 in compensation.
Kyle Jones, 32, of Baron Cross Road, Leominster, pleaded guilty to trespassing and criminal damage at Hereford Magistrates’ Court.
Prosecutor Lauren Millichip said that Jones damaged windows and a door at Hereford Railway Station on November 19.
After the incident, the train station ticket office had to temporarily close while the window was boarded up.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said at the time of the incident: “Police were called to Hereford railway station on November 19 after reports of a concern for welfare for a man who had broken into the station. Officers and paramedics attended.”
Jones was ordered to pay £1063.96 in compensation and a £40 fine.
He also has to pay £85 in court costs and a £16 victim surcharge.
