New NHS dentist is opening in Hereford: how to register

NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire has now officially appointed a new provider of NHS dental services in Hereford, who will operate two brand new practices in the city.

The first of two practices, Central Hereford Dental Care, will open from 9am to 5pm, Monday through to Friday, from a premises on Commercial Street in Hereford, with a second practice located to the south of the river due to open in the late summer.

Central Hereford Dental Care is already taking on new NHS patients and will continue to do so until the books are full.

Appointments at the practices will be offered based on clinical need and priority, rather than a ‘first come, first serve’ system.

It is hoped that the new offerings will help combat the ongoing dental shortage in the county.
