Emergency crews rushed to the river Wye in Hereford this morning after reports of a person in the river.
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said they were called to reports of a patient in the water near to Victoria Bridge at 11.19am.

"One ambulance, a paramedic officer and a BASICS doctor from the Mercian Accident Rescue Service attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman.
"Following treatment at the scene, she was taken to Hereford County Hospital for further assessment."
The air ambulance was seen flying over Hereford after being sent to the scene, but was then stood down.
Firefighters were also called to the scene, with crews from Hereford and Worcester fire stations joined by the water first responders from Leominster and boat crews from Hereford and Worcester, a fire service spokesperson said.
A woman in her 70s had been rescued from the water by a passer-by and was handed over to the care of the ambulance service who attended along with the police and air ambulance, the spokesperson said.
