AS well as a lack of blue badge parking in Hereford, there is also a lack of parent and child parking spaces (Call to increase blue badge parking spots, June 13).

On numerous occasions (this is not just specific to Herefordshire), finding a suitable space has been impossible.

This is not only due to the lack of appropriate spaces in general but because of inconsiderate usage by people who either don’t have a child or children or who have them above the age limit, so could park in a normal space.

There have been times when I’ve struggled to get my baby out of the car due to not being able to open the door fully.

I’m sure I’m not the only mum who finds this incredibly frustrating!
