A HEREFORDSHIRE business is celebrating a milestone anniversary this month.

Ozzys, a local dog groomer, in Bromyard’s High Street is celebrating its 10-year anniversary.

Owner, Caz Coombes, first opened her doors to clients on June 6 above Bonnies Pet Supplies in 2014 before relocating to 57 High Street where she is now. She had a busy first few months, with both the opening of Ozzy's and getting married to her husband, Andy, in July.

In her opening week, she saw a mere seven dogs compared to now where, between herself and her dedicated team Ceri and Rachel, she sees 60 a week.

The support from her family, friends and loyal customers is unprecedented.

“I will be forever grateful to all the people that helped me get started and to all my customers new and old who have trusted me with their dogs," she said.

"I have always been overwhelmed at how well Ozzys was received in Bromyard and how it continues to thrive.”

Ms Coombes works with Ceri, who joined the business in 2015, and Rachel, who joined two years ago.

They have a great relationship making “Ozzy’s a fun place to work” where they are constantly “singing, dancing, joking, drinking endless lattes and of course grooming all the gorgeous dogs”.

Ozzy's “took over” her life during its building and development and she could not express enough thanks for the support her family gave her during that time.

Ms Coombes explained that having children with additional needs came with “huge battles that were incredibly time-consuming", which made running a business even more difficult. She said she has now found a strong work and home life balance.

Ms Coombes expressed huge amounts of gratitude towards her dad who unfortunately passed away in October 2023.

“I would like to take a moment to remember my amazing dad who spent an enormous amount of time helping me with the business and giving and sharing with me special and precious time which he didn't really have but made, as he had his own business to run.”

Her dedication and passion for Ozzy's is visible in her devoted customers and ever-supporting friends and family.
