Firefighters rushed to the rescue after a person was reported to be in the river in Hereford.
Water first responders, boat crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire Service and an incident support unit and drone from Ledbury fire station were all called to the scene after receiving a report of a casualty in the water at Lower Bullingham, Hereford at 6:24pm on July 1 a spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said.
The casualty was a female in her 50s. She was rescued from the water by the water first responder team and handed over to the care of the ambulance service, attending the scene along with the police, the spokesperson said.
