I feel very strongly about the fact that the residents already in situ are really not considered (online: New 350-home estate will benefit Leominster, Persimmon says, June 19).

For example, locating a refuse recycling store at the bottom of their gardens, this creating associated noise and vermin.

Why should they be punished in such a way?

Nobody wants to be beside a refuse store, so why would anyone ever decide to locate and build one at the bottom of existing residents gardens?

It’s a disgraceful decision and the person responsible should be ashamed and forced to relocate the refuse and recycle store.

The vast array of wildlife and birds will suffer greatly from this development and I very much doubt that the nesting boxes supposedly being put up will in any way replace the natural habitat.
