AN ANNUAL Herefordshire event is set to tee off once more for more fundraising fun.

ELY’s Charity Golf Day is held every second week in July at the Burghill Valley Golf Club.

The annual event started in 2012 with around 20 teams of four mixed players but has steadily grown to the amazing 37 golf teams who registered to play on July 13 this year.

After a lovely bacon roll and a tea or coffee for breakfast, the fantastic day comprises of 18 golf rounds. As a treat, M&M Ices will be on site for a few hours near the tenth hole.  Once the players have finished on the course, they can enjoy two more courses of the delicious kind for dinner, including strawberries and cream donated by S&A Produce of Marden.
