TWO intrepid fundraisers are set to take a leap of faith in support of a Herefordshire lifeline.

In a bold display of bravery and commitment, Thorne Widgery team members Megan Smith and Bryndley Jones are set to participate in a skydiving event to raise funds for St Michael’s Hospice in Hereford.

The skydive, scheduled for August 11, is part of the St Michael's Hospice Team Skydive Day, an event aimed at garnering crucial funds for the hospice's vital services.

St Michael's Hospice is an integral part of the Hereford community, providing essential care and support to individuals requiring pain relief, respite, and counselling.

The services offered by the hospice ensure that patients receive the comfort and dignity they need during challenging times.

Ms Smith and Mr Jones, both brave members of the Thorne Widgery team, have previously shown a strong commitment to community involvement through their previous fundraising endeavours.

This skydiving event marks their most daring undertaking yet. “We are super excited to be doing a skydive on behalf of Thorne Widgery for St Michael's Hospice!

“It’s definitely a place we need to keep in our community and plays an important role for people at a sad and stressful time. It’s an honour to be raising money for such a fantastic charity.” said Ms Smith, reflecting the team's enthusiasm for the cause.

To date, the daring duo have raised £515 towards their £1,000 goal. As the event date draws near, they are appealing to colleagues, clients, and the community for donations to help achieve and hopefully surpass their target.

Every contribution helps them move one step closer to providing substantial support to the hospice.

“Megan and Bryndley’s participation in this death-defying act underscores our firm's deep commitment to corporate social responsibility and its dedication to making a meaningful impact within the local community,” said Daniel Crowther, chief executive officer of Thorne Widgery.

“As a firm we believe in going beyond the numbers and accounts, focusing on making real, positive changes in people's lives.”
