THE comment, presumably from Anesco, that states the planned solar farm at Stoke Edith “is relatively well screened from the surrounding area” is totally inaccurate (Solar farm plan for countryside moves closer, July 4).
The site in the valley could not be a worse location if they tried. There are hills on either side of the site. To the north is Shucknall Hill and to the south is Tarrington and Stoke Edith.

On both sides of the valley there is approximately 40 to 50 properties that are located on the hillsides and all of these will have a direct view of the site.
No amount of screening will hide this industrial development from them.
