AS usual there is no consideration of the impact of the Barons Cross housing development on the already congested road infrastructure of Leominster (New 350-home estate will benefit Leominster, Persimmon says, June 19).
I am sure we can expect even more of these ill-considered developments under the new government’s push to accelerate housing developments.

Although, with the second highest population density in Europe, and the projected population increase in the next few years, simply building more housing offers an irresistible short term fix to the housing crisis regardless of its environmental impact.
