Three Herefordshire organisations become the latest additions to an ever-growing collective of recognised armed forces supporter companies.

In the 10th year of the Employer Recognition Scheme, West Midland Reserve Forces & Cadets Association have announced that 37 organisations in their region have been confirmed as silver award winners for 2024, three of which are from Herefordshire.

This year's winners bring the regional total for the West Midlands to an amazing 138 companies.

These awards come from the Ministry of Defence itself and recognise companies for their support of the armed forces community, including reservists, veterans, spouses, cadet forces adult volunteers and cadets.

To qualify for the silver award, organisations must demonstrate several positive measures and policies that actively support members of the armed forces community, align their values with the armed forces covenant and employ at least one individual from the armed forces community.

West Midland RFCA would like to congratulate all of their 2024 winners. The organisations come from a wide range of sectors including construction, local government, healthcare, technology and more.

Herefordshire’s winners are:

  • Herefordshire's Veteran Support Centre
  • Origin8tive Limited
  • Precision Technic Defence Ltd

Regional employer engagement directors for West Midlands RFCA Darren Knight, Philip Sinclair and Cat Suckling, said: “The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme continues to encourage employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same.

“Many congratulations to them all and we look forward to continuing to work with them.”
