A HEREFORDSHIRE pub is set to be a hive of summery activities this July: from drag nights and speed dating to motorbike rides for the little ones, there’s something for everyone!
The first event of The Royal Oak at Much Marcle's July calendar will be hosted by drag group ‘Bright Nights’. The group first performed at the pub last year and has had sell out drag queen events at the venue ever since! A night of singing and dancing, this hilariously funny experience is “not for the faint hearted” when it comes to rude humour!
Drag queen Annie Rexic will be doing her thing on Saturday, July 27, having gone down a treat on her first appearance in 2023. Marsha Mallow will also be performing at the venue; a huge success for Bright Nights in the past, but this will be her first show at the Oak on September 14, so be sure to give her a warm welcome!

The fun-filled night will be raising money for Ledbury Primary School, spreading joy across the community in more ways than one. Contact the pub on 01531 660300 to book your tickets. To add even more sparkle to your experience, parties of 10-12 people will receive a bottle of prosecco!
The Royal Oak is also set to play cupid this July. Open to anyone aged 25 and over, the pub will be hosting a speed dating event on Wednesday, July 31. The event will have two age categories of 25 to 40 and 41+; book your tickets online to be in with a chance of meeting the partner of your dreams, or to simply enjoy a fun evening out!
Aside from July’s exclusive events, Tiny Treads MX hold their mini motorbike days on the fields at the Oak every Saturday. From the age of three, children can enjoy outdoor fun whilst learning discipline and respect and meeting new like-minded friends.
